Client Background

CHG Supplies, a national leader in cleaning chemicals and consumables for the professional market, required a larger, more optimised space to accommodate its growing operational demands. Their previous setup, which combined a small office with a warehouse, limited both storage capacity and workforce efficiency.

When the opportunity arose to refurbish their existing unit, they engaged Interior Options to help create a functional solution that could scale with their business.

The Design

A newly designed high-spec storage facility includes an industrial, heavy-duty racking system that is flexible enough to expand stockholding by 100% as operational needs evolve.

This racking system enhances the speed and accuracy of movement within the Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) layout.

Given that all services required full installation, the delivery involved upgrading the lighting and fire safety systems. We also stripped out a mezzanine floor, along with the existing lighting to facilitate the installation of a larger storage warehouse.

The Outcome

The new facility has been designed to meet CHG’s current needs while also accommodating future growth. The operational zones within the warehouse can adapt as business requirements change, ensuring the space continues to support evolving fulfilment and configuration demands.
