COZA, Effective task seating design

Combining a pivot point and flexible Polymer shell to mimic a traditional 2:1 synchronised mechanism, Coza delivers improved levels of support, without the need for user adjustment. As well as facilitating flexible working practices, it meets the demand for more sophisticated meeting chairs to accommodate longer meetings.

The chair has recently won 2 international awards – beating off strong competition at the Mixology North Awards 2015 to scoop first place in the Furniture Product of the Year category.

Task Seating

Following a record amount of entries across all categories for this year’s event, which represents the North’s esteemed award ceremony and winter ball for the interior design community, the judges were ultimately won over by Coza’s Pioneering Design that has taken the UK commercial furniture market by storm. NeoCon in Chicago gave the chair a Silver Award, judged by architects and designers, as well as corporate, government, and facilities managers who are responsible for the specification of furniture and furnishings.

Commenting on the accolades, Founder and Chairman of The Boss Design Group, Brian Murray says:

“We are delighted to have scooped these prestigious awards. Coza is an engineering triumph and shatters the market’s preconceived expectations about what a task chair should be. It is designed for flexibility and ease of use, offering comprehensive support through fluid movement, and unlike other task chairs, it does not require multiple components or complex assembly.”
