Kent PHK Ltd is a complete rail infrastructure engineering company working nationally to deliver schemes from feasibility through to design, construction and commissioning of many types of electrical, civil and mechanical projects. Project requirement

Kent PHK PLC had instructed a main contractor to manage the construction of the shell for their new site build in Mansfield. Interior Options was engaged to work alongside the client and undertake the office design and fit-out works within a 24-week programme. Interior Option’s ambition was to provide an office that reflected the company’s influential position, brand and culture. Utilising high-end contemporary design whilst keeping consideration to the traditional elements of the building and the company’s environmental ethos.

Unique features created a stunning award-winning design with faceted storage wall and glass modules, giving the illusion of curves. Revolutionary recycled carpet, bespoke whiteboard with colour backlighting added to the drama of the overall design. The space consists of a large administrative open-plan office with ten meeting rooms, collaboration spaces and a soft informal reception area.
