Design and Fit-Out of Multifunctional Event Facility for Mitsubishi Electric

Since its founding in 1921, Mitsubishi Electric has been at the forefront of japan’s technical ingenuity and product innovation. From its first hit product – an electric fan for consumer use – Mitsubishi Electric has continued to create a long list of “firsts” and groundbreaking new technologies that have shaped its business fields all around the world.

Project requirement

After a fiercely contested tender process, Interior Options were awarded the prestigious meeting and seminar suite fit-out contract at ME’s head office in Uxbridge. Given the number of visitors who attend ME meetings each year, our client decided to create an in-house facility, as opposed to their tradition of outsourcing to various event venues. Interior Options created an utterly bespoke facility with moving walls which convert the space from a series of 10 man meeting rooms to a single facility big enough for 100+ delegates. Clever use of sound-absorbing ceiling panels, acoustic walls and built-in av equipment made this project all the more enjoyable. Take a ‘walk through’ this workspace via our 3d facility.
